About Debian
Debian is a free operating system (OS) and a set of application programs for your computer.
It uses the Linux kernel functions, but the majority of OS utility programs are developed in the framework of
the GNU project, that is why the full name of the project is Debian GNU/Linux. An operating system is a set of
main and utility programs that enable operation of your computer. The heart of the operating system is a kernel.
The kernel performs all primary work and gives an opportunity to launch (run/activate) other programs. (Information

Debian & iDeveloperNetwork
The iDeveloperNetwork company has been engaged in developing computer software and providing software support
for 8 years. A part of orders is connected with open-source products. Clients want to use these products in their
commercial projects or to get a special module that would provide a narrow functionality for a specific project.
The Debian operating system was not an exception and a lot of clients wanted their projects to be developed on its
basis. Working with such orders the company has to provide support in addition to developing modules. In many
cases complaints about dead processes were connected with wrong system settings or incorrect use of some components
of the system. Consequently in such cases the company undertook an additional role of a remote system administrator.
