How are cumulative discounts applied? A discount becomes
effective when your yearly budget exceeds a certain amount.
All the sums above this value are discounted.
So, if your yearly budget for all assignments were less than
60K, you would get no discount. With yearly budget between
60K and 100K you would get 5% discount from the sum that exceeds
60K. For example, with yearly budget of 80K, you will get
(80K-60K)*5% = 1000 USD discount.
Also, for amounts between 100K and 200K, 10% discount is applied.
For example, with yearly budget of 170K you will get (100K-60K)*5%
+ (170K-100K)*10% = 2000+7000 = 9000 USD discount.
If your yearly budget exceeds 300K, then you would get 20%
discounts for all successive orders!
